Larry O. Waters was born in the very pleasant sounding town of Gulf Hammock, Florida. After a two-year period of service in the Army, and graduating from Harding College (in Searcy, Arkansas) with a B.S. degree in Business Administration, Larry settled in the Dallas, Texas area. There he pursued a career as a salesman and a partner in a small printing company.

Joining the John Birch Society in 1961, Larry soon became very actively involved as a chairman for various local JBS committees. Deciding to formalize his passion for Birching into full-time employment, he joined the staff in 1967 as a coordinator.

Larry has since worked as a Major Coordinator, a Regional Director, and Director of Field Activities. At present, Larry serves as Vice President and as the National Director of Development.

With children long grown and gone, Larry and his wife Yvonne still call Texas home.
