That is a great point about treaties not truly superseding the Constitution. If they could do that, the President could sign a treaty calling the US non-existent except as an functional appendage to a greater authority (for an extreme example).

This is just as ridiculous as the UN claiming authority to execute any "laws" above other duly-constituted countries and their just laws. No body has fiat authority just because it is first to the trough to proclaim itself king. This is what the principles that gave rise to the Declaration and the US Constitution are all about: Lex Rex. Romans 13 does not preach unquestioning obedience. It preaches obedience in all lawful things; and also the limitation of government UNDER the God who ordained human government.

With respect, it's Revelation, not Revelations. That is a very common error but it's very important that the Word of God is not misrepresented in any way. It is singular in form as it is Revelation from the Lord Jesus Christ to the apostle John. Also, the theologians say that these United States has no part in the end times and is not even mentioned in the Bible, which tends to make me believe that we will have ceased to be of any importance when the events in Revelation come to pass. The most important place in the enitre world (and perhaps in the entire universe) is Israel/Jerusalem. Keep your eye on Israel as it is the Lord's time clock.

Constitutionally, a treaty does not go into effect until it is ratified by a two-thirds vote of the Senate. Lord Monckton seems to have glossed over that point – or does Lord Monckton think that Obama can enforce this treaty by unilateral executive agreement or decree? Either Lord Monckton does not understand our Constitution -- or he believes that Obama does not have to follow it.

If Obama ignores the Senate's constitutional role in ratifying treaties, Americans who understand that enforcing the Constitution is what protects our liberty should be screaming to high heaven about what would be a clear breach of the Constitution.

Aside from constitutional procedure, just by browsing through the topics of the treaty, one can easily see that the treaty would confiscate our country’s wealth and violate intellectual property rights through the very deliberate redistribution policies of the treaty -- all in the name of protecting the planet, but really for the establishment of worldwide collectivism.

I have been watching Jack VanImpe for many many years...back in the day when the EU was indeed the EC or European Community. Even before then, it had a much less authoritative name. Jack has just stated that the last prophecy to be fulfilled per the Bible is the Peace Treaty. This treaty that is being prepared, in my opinion, IS the treaty. Jack has had more passionate warnings for years and with this latest act to pass a treaty? It is here folks. Yes, I agree that America is the "Paper Lion" and of not much use AFTER the rapture, however, until then, we are the most powerful.
