If you were upset by House passage of its health care reform bill, H.R. 3962, by 220-215 on November 7th, then contact your Senators immediately and tell them to vote NO on any version of health care being offered by Senate leadership. The Senate is expected to vote on its health care bill sometime between late November and mid-December. If the Senate passes its version of health care reform, then both House and Senate will need to vote still another time on a final conference committee version. We know what's at stake -- an eventual complete government takeover of our health care system. Although it seems like we're destined to lose our health care freedom, remember how an extraordinary grassroots firestorm stopped the Senate dead in its tracks and forced it to abandon the Bush-Kennedy-McCain amnesty bill in 2007. We need just such a firestorm of opposition again! Bottom line, if the Senate leadership's version of health care reform passes, then how each Senator votes on it will be a top issue in the congressional election campaigns of 2010 and 2012. This is a good time to let your Senators know what impact their votes on health care reform will have on your participation in the campaigns of 2010 and 2012. This is ultimately the only leverage you have on your Senators. Use it! Contact your Senators in opposition to the Senate leadership's health care reform bill via their DC and district offices by means of personal visits, phone calls, faxes, and emails. Click here to take immediate action to send an email to both of your Senators.

I ain't heard no fat lady sing... Notice the margin of passage in the House vote (220-215)... a mere 3 votes made the difference. This is not the margin, not the MANDATE, that the liberals had hoped for. The Senate, despite Obama and Reid prematurely claiming "victory", is far from a done deal. We need to keep up... NO!... INTENSIFY our efforts, not only in the Senate, but the House as well. We just barely lost a skirmish, but the battle is far from over. |

... Put the pressure cooker over intense telephone heat. Patriots keep them ringing for they are our freedom bell. GOD bless you one and all and may He undergird the constitution which He permitted George,John,Thom and all their peers to assemble for their perpetuity!! |

Beyond The way to reform health care is to get "government management" out of it - a large part of what's caused the price increases in these last couple decades. Though full-fledged HillaryCare was voted down, enough pieces were subsequently ensconced piece by piece to make the current "crisis" - with socialistic takeover the "solution" as always. Beyond this battle, let us NOT FORGET the war, and how to win it. To vote in true Constitutionalists, ignoring party politics for once. The stakes are higher than who rules over the behemoth. We must chain it. |

... It never ceases to amaze me how people who have nothing to say have to say it with venom! |

This bill is insufficient and just gives the insurance companies more money. Why does this bill not do away with the insurance companies that are responsible for raising the costs of healthcare in the United States? Insurance companies are run for the profits of the owners and shareholders and not for the benefit of the recipients. There has been a 200% increase in the amount of doctors and a 3000% increase in the amount jobs needed for medical billing. Greedy insurance companies need laws to keep them honest and the love to make up new ways to deny people coverage. This bill only pays for people to have medical insurance given from insurance companies who take a profit but has a few consessions like no more denying pre-existing conditions. After this bill was passed, the insurance companies' stocks had a huge rally. The government already runs a healthcare program quite well and its called Medicare. It is way cheaper than paying for insurance. Government programs are run, not a profit but for the benefit of the people and society. |
