Have any of you noticed the "Tweet This" button (example at right) at the top of articles on JBS.org and TheNewAmerican.com? I hope so, and want to encourage everyone who has an account at Twitter to use this button. And if you don't have an account at Twiiter -- please create one ASAP because Twitter is the most powerful and easy to use marketting tool ever created. It is the single best way to spread the word about JBS.
Why is the Tweet This button so important? Simple: it ties to the TweetMeme service. TweetMeme is kind of like DIGG for Twitter, only because it works through Twitter, it is much more valuable than DIGG. When enough people, approximately 150, tweet JBS or TNA articles, TweetMeme puts the story on its front page where it gets great visibility, but more importantly, TweetMeme then retweets the story to its followers -- and TweetMeme has 34,800 followers. That's 34,000 people that will be exposed to JBS or TNA content, probably for the first time ever.
Therefore, if you really want to take your virtual Birching up a notch, get an account on Twitter (it's really easy) and start clicking on the TweetThis button on our articles. It will put our content in front of thousands of new eyes. There are now over 8,000 people in the JBS community. Let's try to work together to get JBS and TNA noticed on TweetMeme and on Twitter. |
