Kelly TaylorWriter, filmmaker and TV talk-show producer, Kelly Taylor was raised in Midland, Texas. She attended John Birch Society Youth camps as a teenager and later served as a camp counselor. After joining the Society in 1976, she served as a JBS chapter leader. In 1977, she became a life member.

Kelly earned her B.S. in film and television at the University of Texas at Austin. In addition to her filmmaking talents, she co-produces "The Simple Truth," a politically-oriented cable access TV talk show covering local and national topics such as the United Nations, the North American Union, the Second Amendment, the Trans-Texas Corridor, and the Constitution. Kelly also finds time to write for The New American magazine.

Kelly lives in the heart of the area where the Trans-Texas Corridor, the first part of the NAFTA Superhighway, is scheduled to be constructed. She was on of the first to report that Texas authorities are working with federal counterparts to erect toll stations on existing highway to fund the NAFTA Superhighway. The NAFTA Superhighway is meant to ease our nation into the North American Union, a new political union consisting of the United States, Canada, and Mexico much like the European Union. Logically, this is the topic that speaks about The John Birch Society.

She tells of the consequences of a NAFTA Superhighway: how it will drive jobs out of our nation; facilitate the trafficking of humans, drugs, weapons and other contraband across our border; supersede property rights for untold numbers; and spur the destruction of U.S. sovereignty. It is a topic that will affect the lives and livelihoods of all Americans.
